What actually makes a DeFi exchange “the best”?
I've been comparing different DeFi exchanges lately, and I'm realizing that there probably isn't one platform that's automatically best for everyone. Liquidity, trading fees, supported chains, slippage, and the types of tokens you trade seem to matter more than just picking the most popular DEX. I'm curious what experienced users here actually prioritize when choosing one.

Liquidity is probably the thing I'd pay the most attention to, especially for larger swaps. A low advertised fee doesn't mean much if you end up losing more through slippage or expensive network fees. For smaller trades, I'd also check the gas cost before assuming one DEX is actually cheaper.
